I'm Back!!!!

Sorry about the inconvenience of the missing blog!!!! Had a change of heart and left only my profile for you all to see as I didn't get any hits at all ... BUT.... hopefully the word may get around and some may even read and some may EVEN COMMENT on the content.
I am in the process of doing what I used to do as Secretary of several organisations ... that is STATS. I suppose it is a sign of misspent old age!!! Or maybe I just have nothing better to do. But I don't really care. It will give me a chance to visit my local bottle shop and compare the quality of beers compared to soft drinks and we shall see if I can come up with healthy, cheap and "politically correct" drinks for us who enjoy the freedom of being able to have a beer or two after mowing the lawns or just lazing on a hot day (or any day for that matter).
Being a pensioner (Yes I am old enough to be classified as such!!) I am always looking for a bargain or the cheapest and best value for money. My wife often says I am too picky but I have found that the dearest is not always the best. After my beer blog I may even have a look at some of my two son's favourites ... being the comparison between their all time favourite Black and Gold and some other generic brands. To the boys' credit, they even wrote a song about Black and Gold when they were both scratching for ready cash. And it was a great, fun song. This is not Dad speaking but a trained classical musician's well trained ear maybe even adjudicating!!!
So. if you read this blog, tell your friends (if they like beer or soft drink) to keep watching this space as I will have the final breakdown in a week or so, but I will also keep you up to date with taste testing in the meantime.
So. until my next venture into this unknown world ... until next time ..................
